By real-world sense do you mean the the general anthropology sense of the word meaning any system of veneration, or do you mean the more common Scientology/Manson Family/Heaven's Gate/Aum Shinrikyo/people who buy Apple products sense of the word

I'd probably end up creating a society made up largely of younger people or at least one with younger peopele in charge. Not Childen of the Corn extremism, but a society that doesn't really value tradition (aside from the worshiping the future born), and changes frequently because the future is always in flux. Imagine an entire society where every generation is made up of little princes and princesses.
