Homebrew By Request thread?

I half remember a recent (Oct. 2010) thread advertising itself as a home-brew by request thread coming up in a Google search. I think it may have been in one of the more obscure forums and if someone can find it, I would appreciate it.

Until then: Home brew me a table of completely mundane wilderness event/encounters. Completely mundane, but descriptive. Things that could be followed with the line "... and just then, all of a sudden..." but usually aren't. Ideally they could be tables specific to terrain types (i.e. forest, plains, mountainous, arctic, cave, desert...).

Things like:

01: A Blue Butterfly flutters across your path (from East to West)
14: A twig snaps behind you and to the left
224: You smell that? It's like a wet Horse Stall mixed with curing Cheesefish
3.1415: Splat! A passing bird has a near miss (or not) with a bowel movement
4: A pair of beedy eyes glow at you from behind a bush (it's a possum)

FOREST:
5. A strange birdcall rings loudly through the forest, once only.
6. An unexpected puff of wind riffles the leaves around you.
7. An unexpected gust of wind roars through the treetops above you.
8. A raven lands on a nearby branch, looks at you for a moment, then flies off.
9. A few yards to your right, a large branch crashes to the ground.
10. You are sure that tree wasn't there a moment ago.
11. You come across the end of a single bright-coloured strand of vine leading off into the undergrowth.
12. A rabbit is hanging from a trip-snare just ahead.

13. You step into a puddle hidden by yellowing leaves.
14. You hear the boom of a hunting horn from up ahead.
15. You see the twinkle of an exotic earring on the muddy roadside.
16. A pair of booted legs peek from beneath a bush.
17. A deer runs past the road, an empty backpack stuck on its horns.
18. Two frogs, as if arguing with each other, face each other on opposite sides of the path.
19. All of the sounds of the forest stop.
20. You smell smoke.
