Being a gay man I find the flip comments about faeries and and phrases such as "That is so gay." extremely offensive. I would like to know if this form of bigotry is acceptable here? If so I will take my interest to a more tolerant board.

OK, I have an issue with your post.

I get really, really irritated when someone sees something on the boards and starts implying that, because it is there, it has been seen by the moderators and approved of in some way. When they follow that up with a "threat" to go elsewhere, my ire increases even more.

"I would like to know if this form of bigotry is acceptable here" is, in its passive-aggressive way, as offensive as the offending post itself. It's extremely clear to all that bigotry is not acceptable here (in fact this site as a reputation for being *too* PC, for what that's worth), so I am at a loss as to what would make you ask that question.

If you see a problem post, please report it to a moderator. You can email a mod, or, preferably, use the "Report Post" button. If you do neither, the likelyhood is that a moderator will not ever see it, seeing as it's one of a couple million posts on the board.

More importantly, though, please do not attempt to imply that a lack of moderator action on something you've spotted is some kind of deliberate agenda.
