More? How does he do it! Ha! Keepit up. I propose a yugoloth thread. How about yugoloths that each apply to one of the seven deadly sins? Thoughts?

Well, Pants is the Master of Yugoloths on the boards, but I'm willing to consider a Seven Deadly 'loths project. Hmm...

Idea.

Here is what I had in mind.

Unique beings, roughly as powerful as an ultraloth, maybe just a little more.

Abilities that mimic the sin the represent. For example, "sloth" has a mass slow ability and has mass hold monster. Maybe a paralyzing gaze or aura. A slow atrophic thing. Envy has Sleight of Hand and telekinesis. Envy would be a greedy thief. Gluttony would have cruel illusions of delicious foods that leave the victim fat and sick.

They should all have a summon yugoloth ability that goes beyond their kind into similar creatures like the famine spirit from the MMII for gluttony. That would be too strong, but you get the point.

Fear aura. Definitely fear aura.

Low combat, high magic. Lots of charm this and shadow that. Cruel temptations.

Shouldn't greed be a greedy thief? ;) Anyways, I have done a bit of brainstorming in my short absence, and will be making sin daemons sooner or later (sooner than later, probably, since I'm no longer DMing). I'm thinking that they won't be unique, but instead lesser reflections of their universal concept. Something is in the works...

This is very good -- I've been looking for this very thing to put in a home brew Abyssmal setting I call Deepuld

If you would be interested in detailing some unique creatures it would be wonderful -- plus of course you would be credited.

Please let me know if you are interested and I will send you the details. I'm also looking for an illustrator.

Wow-

I hadn't looked at it previously, but your hordeling conversion leaves me in awe.

Wow- new smilies!! :p
Wow. Thank you. I'm honored.

I just did these guys on an absolute whim. I was sick, and had hours to burn, so I spent it doing the hordlings. Must have been delirium caused by the fever. ;)
