Horrible joke in the original Matrix...

...and days after I posted it too. Its only political if you make it...its a simple little joke if you can catch it. There's nothing attacking anyone...though I'm not going to comment on the Reloaded thing.
Was just pointing out something funny in the movie and wondered if anyone else had noticed. It wasn't supposed to become this political commenting thread. Even though I may have been insulted by some comments, I'm not going to go after them. Its pointless and this just isn't the place for it.

I hope you don't take my comments as an attack on you. My comments are directed at the directors of the movie.

I think everybody is entitled to their own opinions and views, I just don't like them being thrown in my face.

PC...you should have laid the lockdown on this thread. Sorry about this...my fingers are being controlled by Eris herself...

Just like a conservative: everyone's entitled to their own views as long as they remain unexpressed. Piss off, Buster Brown.

You know, Tom, if you want to post something that you think might offend someone, you better shouldn`t post it. I know it can be hard to stop, but...

Maybe it is because I watched the German version of Reloaded (the text sometimes differs a bit: In the German version, Trinity never says "Dodge This" - the line does not work that well in German, but says - in response to the agents "Only a human" - "Only a Machine". I think both work well, though the "Dodge This" Reference is obviosuly the classic one.), but I am not sure if you neccesarily must interpret that the picture of Bush means he was "Evil". Maybe he was just there because he was involved in a fight against "evil"...

Anyway, everbody has opinions and feels the need to express them. Even filmmakers. And why shouldn`t they?
Where is the harm? You don`t have to agree with the opinion of another person and suddenly share it.
Maybe you do, maybe you don`t. Maybe you feel the urge to understand another ones opinion (even if only searching for the obvious flaws in his argumentation). Maybe you just think "what a stupid guy" and decide to ignore it. You still have your own choice...
