Well it's heartening to see that Gamma World's going to live on, at least in some way.
The high quality of art has me confused though. I'm not sure if it means that the game will be of comparable quality, or if they're going to use nice artwork to try and distract from shoddy game-crafting. I've seen it happen both ways, and of course will wish for the former
Definately a must-have if the game mechanics even approaches the fantastic artwork you've already shown us. Whenever anyone mentions that oldie I get to missing it again. And to think it'll be D20 (it is, right?) and thus compatable with the other D20 material without lots of house rules....
My 1e Gamma World commands a tresured place upon my shelf alongside copies of Gangbusters, Top Secret, and that medieval sword and sorcery game whose names escapes me. Now I have something to update that wonderful game.
Wee! Two more of mine (Echost and Medicant). The Medicant looks awesome - the proof pdf Bruce sent me didn't do justice to the picture... Thank you so much!
The Medicants were designed with the robots' functions deeply in mind. Kudos to Mytholder for them.
The Flesh-Cutting Ant you see is actually my second attempt at it, not quite liking the first one (who had a "Bob, the Ant" look to it).
The Echost is actually fully detailed underneath the translucent shell (bearing a resemblance to Star Wars' 8-D8 - aka Jabba's torture droid). Maybe I'll post it someday as a web-enhancement for Mutants & Machines, whaddya say?
