[hosted] Sneak Peek at Ravenloft's Guide to the Shadow Fey!

Klaus

First Post
Hi there, Kids and Kidettes!

In about a month or so, Arthaus' Guide to the Shadow Fey hits the streets. So I thought it'd be nifty to put up a countdown featuring the artwork I did for this book.

So click here and check out the feral Teg, the macabre Sith and the ethereal Shee. And check out their alternate forms in each picture!

As usual, let me know what you think!

Sweet! I'm really impresed by the Shee.
Thanks, P-kitty! I am very proud of that one.

I might actually post an enlarged detail of the face, 'caus it really came out nicely... :)

Nice.

Can you tell us more about those races? Is there a sneak peak of the written content anywhere?

Are these races that would be playable as PC's? In a couple of weeks, we're going to start an evil ravenloft game, and so far I'm probably playing a drow wizard/rogue, but if these Sith are anywhere near the drow in powers and disposition, I might change the race yet.

Can you tell me anything about the Sith? Some general info about their abilities?

EDIT: Brain initially spat out an older product's name.
Just found that one out, too. Wondered why you gave me an older edition book's name.

And, I think, you mean Denizens of Darkness :D

I haven't seen the 3.5 Sith yet, but the 3.0 one had waaay more abilities than the drow:
HD: 7d6-7
Lucky: +3 luck bonus to AC and can re-roll a save 1/day
+4 Dex, -2 Con, +6 Int, +2 Wis, +2 Cha
Fear Aura
Blinding Speed: Gets 3 actions per round (I don't know how THAT's gonna translate)
Spells: Necromacy only, as Wiz6
Shadow Form: Can move, see and hear, but not attack
Fire Immunity
Sunlight Weakness: loses 3hp/round (1 in shaded area)
DR 15/silver
Low-light vision and Darkvision 120 ft.
