[hosted] The cover of FDP's BattleBox posted!

First Post
Hi, all!

This time around I present the cover of a product that I am specially proud of: Fiery Dragon's tabletop accessory BattleBox!

With the help of editor Scott Holden-Jones ("Canadiana Jones"), I put together a box full of stuff that helps _run_ the game: tracking pads, action cards, spell counters, spell templates, new rules for pursuits and defensive structures...

And I put together a cover that embodied all that "tabletop action". So check it out here and then come back to tell me what you think!

Posted from Monte's boards:
BattleBox and CC Digital Battlebox and Counter Collection Digital will be available in retail stores in 2 weeks.

Battlebox should do well for us, thanks to Monte's plug! :) Make sure your store orders copies.

Counter Collection Digital will be available wherever Sword & Sorcery or Malhavoc products are sold! (You may notice a small S&S logo on the back -- it's going through their distribution network).

Wouldn't it be cool if there was an AU Battlebox sometime next year, like say, March 2005?

Very cool art, Claudio!

Also, I have to say that the product looks like it's going to be fantastic! I want one, and I want it now!

Wow that's a great one. One of the best I've seen of your work.

The reason I like this one so much, is because this is the kind of picture that makes people pause for a moment to really "look" at it. What I mean is, most common illustrations are a picture of something "obvious", so people only need to glance at it and then they feel free to move on. But this piece really captures your attention. It makes you want to pause to "examine" it and absorb the details. I find my eyes wandering up and down all over the picture as I piece together the scene. :D

Wow Claudio - that looks great ! Some of your best work yet...

Looks a bit dark on the screen though - my only other nitpick would be that the guy on the left must be standing on a rock, otherwise the flames would engulf more of his legs. - the perspective on him look off a bit

Thanks for sharing...
