Hound Archon canine form

Does a hound archon heal HP when changing to and from its canine form? If so, does this mean a character playing a hound archon can just change back and forth a bunch of times after combat to heal up to full HP?

It says "similar" to a polymorph spell in the description, but doesn't explicitly saying anything about healing, which the lycanthropy entries do mention.

I don't have books handy, but I'd say no on the healing issue, with a IMHO as a disclaimer.

It's "similar" to a polymorph but is not the spell; a hound archon is not a lycanthrope, even if the abilities seem similar; assuming healing even though nothing is mentioned is always a bad idea; and it's unlikely the designers would intentionally implement an ability that would give access to infinite healing rather than just give access to the Heal spell as an at will spell-like ability.

But this is just an educated guess.
