Don't get me wrong, I liked them and I think it will be interesting to see how Damon shifts, but they are consuming a lot of screentime at this point. We have gotten the point of them, I think its time to move on.The food shipment scene was cool, I like the cold war tactics. I like how there is no note, no announcement, just a simple flag, letting the people imagine the black's intent. Having the riot directly impact Alicent was a nice touch, making it where the Sept is not even a haven for her anymore.Aemond is probably my favorite character at this point. Alicent is right that he is young and impetuous, but there is the raw material for a good king in there and we do see it on occasion. He has the strength and the force of command, he is also pretty intelligent and makes good decisions (for example he instantly recognizes what Larys is and wants to bring the wisdom of Otto back into the fold). His point about using naval mercenaries is an interesting debate. His councilors are right that its a gamble to bring "pirates" so close to their shores, but Aemond's right that the blockade is throttling them and their naval assets are too far away, so I can respect the decision either way.Of course the scythe over all of their heads is that dangerous and possibly malicious aggression of his, as well of his ignorance of the smallfolk which could push him into a Tyrant. I am very curious to see how he ends up.</blockquote>
