House Orogoth in DoF - some question

Zarnam

First Post
Since my Dragons of Faerun won't reach my shelf til Christmas, I'd like to ask the happy owners of this great book for some help with House Orogoth.
In the campaign I'm running, I gave my players some hints regarding the Orogoth Manor in High Moor and now they want to visit the place to check if there are some interesting things to be "salvaged". Since the description in Volo's Guide is quite brief, I'd be jolly if someone could support me with some lore by answering these questions:

- are there any described, statted, mentioned personalities from House Orogoth ?
- are they really a Netherese family who gained dragon related powers ?
- are any still alive ?
- are they powerful ? :p

Thanks !!

Yes, in brief "parenthetical" format, for dragons and their progeny. There's also a generic stat block for half-black dragon ophidians and a "for the players" sidebar for half-black dragon human characters.

They claim to be.

Yes.

Yes.

Jeeesh, Eric that was quick :)

But you (or someone else having the book) could be a wee bit more specific - are there any epic level casters (how epic) ? Would you slip me a name of one of the members, so that I can make an encounter ?

Thanks

Wow; is that all out of your head?

More on House Orogoth, incidentally, can be found in Serpent Kingdoms (which details the High Moor region in comprehensive terms) and in Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast (which provides mostly rumor and legendry about the Orogoths, but it's written real nice!)

Wow Eric, what more can I say...wow

As to SK and Volo's - I have both and already used that material generously in my campaign :)
