Somebody seriously needs to review Mars! I keep looking at it, but the pdf is just expensive enough for me not to buy on speculation (thought it may very easily turn out to be worth every red penny).bento said:Heck yeah! I've been reading the same book off and on for the last month thinking the setting would make an exciting game.
I've only looked a the preview, but "Mars: the RPG" from Adamant looks like it would be great for additional inspiration!
If you have any conversion notes laying around from this game, I'd love to see them. Just today I was considering YotZ for True20, and that it would be cool.iwatt said:What I've played so far with the True20 system:

The True20 Companion is fantastic; I really recommend you get it. As far as feats go, yeah, there could always be more, but it is easy enough to add in anything you want from d20 or to create new ones as you see fit!Arrgh! Basically, the first part of the game will be based in and around Five Fingers. So very cool.
I haven't picked up the companion yet, but if its true that it does give a lot of cool stuff I'm really contemplating it.
This is only a slight issue I have with True 20, because it's fairly easily rectified but I would of liked more feat chains; I know this takes up valuable space but while I feel that warriors and experts are no longer particularly weak, they don't have the cool points that adepts can get basically.
Just a slight issue for me anyway.

- Dies the Fire
I'm pretty sure it is as I seem to recall a thread where it was discussed.Flynn said:Iwatt, I have to ask... Is "Dies The Fire" based on the S.M.Stirling novel of the same name? If so, that sounds like such a cool idea! Very, very cool series there, filled with some interesting opportunities for RP for the right kind of group.
Enjoy,
