MY current campaign is a real hodge-podge of systems... Bit o' 3.5, a smidgen of Modern d20, a wee bit of AU, a lil' CoC and a lot of my own house rules.

Goin' the loooow magic route.

After a year-long campaign that featured classes from at least 6 different publishers, I've just started a brand-new 3.5 *core only* campaign.

I forgot how much I loved the simplicity of it.

We tend to stick to WOTC, Scarred lands, and Ravenloft prestige classes. The reason is that our current campaigns are Homebrew, Scarred lands, and Ravenloft. :) I would not mind others, but we do like to keep the flavor of a campaign.

In my two actual groups, there are only core classes. In don´t like the prestige classes. My hope is find a way to make something like prestige classes by the feats path. With the fighters it easy. Cleric could be by the dogma way, roges by the skills and feats. Sorry i am writting and thinking at the same time :p

I voted for the first choice, although my current campaign is even more strict. I am only allowing classes which have been specifically updated for 3.5 or what appears in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting (couldn't wait for official 3.5 updates).

I'm working on a campaign world for a forthcoming campaign where nearly all the core classes are heavily modified or altogether new, and every PrC is built specifically for the world. Nothing earth shattering, but I'm proud of it. :)

i use the core classes from Tactical Studies Rules (TSR).

but we added classes from the Supplements I-IV, The Strategic Review, BasicD&D, and 1edADnD (pre-UA)
