How Do I Generate A City?

Are there rules or charts anywhere for generating how many of the various types of shops and buildings there are in a city of a given size?

Wasn't there a Dragon that covered this?

The old 2e book "World Builder's Guidebook" had rules for that sort of thing. Dunno if anyone bothered to put it in a script...
