How do I use battlemaps/Dunjinni-style maps w/o revealing too much?

I really like the idea of using pre-generated battle maps, potentially with a program like Dunjinni. It seems like a great way to show the PCs what their characters are doing and what the area looks like -- especially with minis. My only concern is that if you generate a battlemap for the entire dungeon level (as an example), how do you keep the PCs from seeing the whole layout when they haven't explored it all yet?

I thought about using cardboard sheets to cover areas they haven't explored yet, but that just seemed kinda hokey.

What do you guys do to keep the unexplored areas a secret while letting the PC's minis move around on the areas that are already explored?

TIA. :)

I generally only use the pre-rendered battlemaps for set encounters. We'll do normal mapping on the fly on the battlemat, then I'll pull out the pre-printed map for the actual fight.

I'll probably do fewer pre-printed maps now, since I've just gotten a set of Tact-tiles. The combination of being able to draw all the stuff out ahead of time with decent detail plus being able to keep tiles off the table until needed is pretty sweet.
