D&D 5E How do outsiders understand Barovian writing and speech?

Technically, it's more like:

I'm assuming spoken Barovian. My argument is that written language prevents oral linguistic drift.

Barovians speak normally with a slight Slavic accent, but when they count it gets a bit weird.

"Vot vos your cart?"
"The six of Swords"
"Six! Six of swords! Mah ha ha. Wan of Swords! Two! Tree Swords! Four swords! Five Swords! Six! Mah ha ha"
"...."
"These is a cart of great good fortune. You vill meet a stranger on ze road. Wan stranger! Mah ha ha!"
"Um..."
"End now your second cart! Two carts! Mah ha ha!"
"We're leaving"
