Generally, medium rare. If not that, I can go up or down a category, with rare being preferable to medium.

I used to be a medium or medium-rare person, but my wife can do an amazing rare steak thanks to some Gordon Ramsay tips.

So if it's high quality (grass fed etc) and well-prepared, rare. If it's at a backyard bbq... Probably medium or medium-rare.

I like ketchup with bad steak. That's a lie, I just like ketchup, so I'll have a bit of it with good steak too.

Medium Well, but at a restaurant will usually order Medium as I trust a chef to make it good.

My parents like very rare steaks, so the first time I ever actually enjoyed d a steak was when my dad burned one and it was a nice well done.
