How do you like your steak?

So, my parents not only liked to make their steak Blue Rare, they didn't use salt or pepper or any other seasoning during prep...

That’s unusual, to say the least. I like a blue steak on occasion, but I can’t say I’ve ever had unseasoned beef.

I prefer medium rare if at home and grilling it myself, but I usual order medium if at a restaurant.

Going by that illustration, rare, or even blue. Although good luck getting a steak cooked like that in the UK, they always overcook them in most places. Thankfully go to Spain often enough to enjoy decent steak.

Medium rare or medium for me, usually with the typical salt and pepper, and either a garlic or sicilian butter on top.

Exactly can't get a decent rare steak in the UK, except in a top end restaurant.
