How do you make comments?

1) How do you make comments on a post?
2) Can you comment on posts in closed threads?

We're really not big fans of people using xp remarks to contribute to closed threads. Please don't do so to continue the argument; if you do, don't be surprised if you get hit with neg xp or a suspension. That's not what they're for.

I don't appreciate you assuming what my intentions are regarding comments. I just asked a few simple questions. I didn't even know that comments had anything to do with xp. There was absolutely no need to get snippy with me.

I wasn't intending to be snippy at all, although it does kind of read that way. It's only been recently that you could post xp in a closed thread (or it's only been recently that it's been showing up!), and we mods were just talking about our policy on this last week. I'd feel pretty lousy if you or anyone else ran afoul of a rule you hadn't even been told about. That's why it got mentioned here.

So it was meant to be the global "you", not a specific "you." I can see my post didn't read that way. My apologies for the confusion.
