How do you RP a Wis: 74 and Cha: 60?

I'm playing a 21st level godless Cleric in an epic game in the Playing the Game forum on these boards. With the assistance of his followers from the Leadership Feat he has managed to cast two spells to enhance his wisdom and charisma with +46 for little over a week. In a few minutes time his willpower, insight and presence have become greater than any Gods, his spells have become nigh-irresistable and his Turning likewise. As far as the roll-playing the numbers speak for themselves, my difficulty is how to role-play this superhuman character credibly.
I know there are a lot of wise and experienced people in this community, maybe some of you could offer your insights, advice or condemnations of my munchkinism ;). I would appreciate it.

You really can't. I mean 74 Wisdom? On a scale of 3 - 18 with the most advanced humans having a 23, you have a 74.

I wouldn't worry about it overmuch. At epic levels you really can't worry about these kinds of numbers. Just roleplay it as if the guy had a 23 WIS/CHA and leave it at that.

Anything you say, people pay very close attention to, to the point of making something stupid a gospel. "I really hate ants." Reaction: A fanatic group of ant smiters who seek out all forms of ants including formians to smite.

-smirks- other than that, just over exxagerate it. I'd almost want to say mix the Pope and James bond on this.
 

74? Dude, there are a lot of wise and experienced people in this community, but not that wise.

A 74 wisdom means that you *know* everything that happens around you without even concentrating; you can always feel what a person is about to say; your mind is as stable as a pyramid.

A 60 charisma means that people constantly find themselves staring at you; as soon as you open your mouth, the room falls silent and everyone listens carefully; whatever you do or say, no matter how irrelevant or stupid, will result in a scene out of Life of Brian.

And those are great understatements.
 

74 Wisdom and 60 Charisma?

You realise the God themselves are gonna stop by for tea to ask advice, right? And follow it, too!

Transcendance. With a Wisdom that high, you'd probably realise the secrets of the universe, become a being of pure energy, and leave this mortal plane for destinations unknown.

Normally I'm of the school of thought that says that when players have earned access to high level abilities, they should be allowed to use them.

This, however, seems a bit extreme. First I would look at the mechanics of how he got there and consider if a revamp is needed. Also, the gods may range from awed to annoyed at his little escapade so there's some options there.

To really answer the question though:

A 74 wis? The man would be resolute of will but also wise enough to see the consequences of many courses of actions. His deep understanding may prove to be completely overwhelming in that he dares not move for he can see the myriad of consequences that his actions will cause. This is just another way of nerfing down the character unfortunately, but it's the only real answer I can come up with to the consequences of such profound insight. The world, frankly, would be too boring for such a insightful person.

As for the charisma, all women would love him, all men would follow him. He would know the perfect thing to say in all situations, and would not seem like a god, but more subtle. Within moments of talking to him you would find him compelling but for no reason you could explain.
 

With that sort of wisdom... hmm. Get a pen and paper, and write out the Way To Live Happily Forever, or something like it, because you know it. Your campaign world changes instantly :) Your charisma means that pretty much everyone who encounters you loves you instantly and will do whatever you say, no matter how stupid.

And, yeah, gods are going to be coming for you. I'd hide :)
 

His Charisma makes it hard to look at him--people are constantly "blinded" by his un-naturally strong personality. I keep imagining God as pictured in those little Jack Chick tracts - just a shining oval for the face, for it is so beauteous that none may look on it and live.

For that Wisdom score, think about "Flowers for Algernon" a.k.a. "Charly." The basic plot is that a man who is mentally slow is given a treatment that makes him smart. Unfortunately, it doesn't last forever. In the beginning, he's happy (because he doesn't know anything better than his current state). Even when he surpasses genius level IQ he's not happy, because he's all alone (just at the other end of the scale). Cruelly, at the end, he can't be happy being dumb again, because he knows he was smart at one point. Do something similar with his wisdom. When it's high, think of it a la "Bruce Almightly" (haven't seen it, just the ads). His Wisdom is so high, he doesn't know how to handle it. And once it's back down to normal, he's moody, clinically depressed, and nearly insane at what he's "lost" by reverting to his normal Wisdom.
 

I have a hard time imagining what spells could confer that kind of bonus, given that like bonuses don't stack with themselves, but there's a perfectly easy way to deal with this in-game.

What you're talking about is a character who essentially has "cosmic awareness." Based on all the comic books I've read, that's a pretty certain recipe for insanity. Does the character have superhuman Intelligence to match? If not, his brain would be overwhelmed by the information provided by that high Wisdom before he'd ever be able to take advantage of his Charisma. I'd say such a character would be incapacitated for the duration of the spell's effects.

If I were the DM in a game where this happened. I would have the above happen. Of course, that's a pretty mean thing to do to a character who obviously went to a lot of effort to get those buffs, so I'd pull him out of the game and throw him into a separate, cosmic conflict (his consciousness is forced to battle with a god, etc.) that's on his new level. I'd make this something he could win, rather than just a punishment, and I'd let it affect the rest of the characters in a positive way.

Then I'd find a way to make sure it never happened again.
