So by this, I assume it means things like energy attacks, touch attacks, etc, and not that any of the special materials that sometimes ignore DR also ignore DR/-.

Think of it like this. DR X/— works just like DR X/magic (and all the other types of DR) except that it has no inherent weaknesses, so a magic weapon doesn't bypass it, and neither does adamantine, silver, cold-iron, good, evil, etc, etc, etc.
