Mind Blank works against mind-affecting psionic abilities, regardless of whether you use transparency or not.
Psionic attack modes are technically not mind-affecting, so Mind Blank won't save you from them. Frankly it isn't going to unbalance the game to house rule that they are mind-affecting. The only attack mode you need to worry about (if you aren't psionic) if Mind Blast. Take a good look at the way the save DCs are generated - they are all treated as 0th-level powers, and they suffer a -7 to -9 penalty to their DC against non-psions.
