How else do you store dice? (Besides dice bags.)

An Altoids tin is nice for travel because it can hold a full set, is somewhat durable, and fits in your pocket.

I keep mine in a leather ammo pouch that came with one of my WWII rifles (the Mauser IIRC). It's basically a rigid leather box that sits upright when I'm not using it and I can be sure won't open in my bag. they also have belt loops if I really wanted to keep all my dice on my belt. Plus I had lots of them just laying around doing nothing at the time.

I used to keep them in a plastic box that I think was originally intended to store 3.5 inch floppy disks. And then someone left a crown royal bag laying around...and then never came back to play. Shall we say 'yoink'?

Anyway, since then, I have come to appreciate the bag approach. Now, I keep my dice split between a chainmail bag my wife had made for me, and a Blantons (TM) bourbon bag (that I bought for the bag, sadly, not the bourbon)

Everyone know the display cases you see the dice in at your FLGS? I store most of my extra dice in two of those. About 18" on a side, 64 (8x8) individual cubbies. The remainder of my dice are in a large tupperwear container.

my first collection of dice i placed in bags. and when that expanded. i used burlap sacks. and when that expanded i used a 40gal milk canister and when that filled i bought milk crates. and when that filled i started using screw sorters and when they filled i ....

well i have over 14000 dice.

i have dice scattered in all sorts of containers and interesting places....

I keep all of my d6s in a large glass goblet on the coffee table. All of my other dice are stored in a nifty treasure chest at the corner of the table, which I picked up from FRPgames.
