D&D 3E/3.5 How has the 4e announcement helped your 3.5 stash?

I recently picked up the Complete Scoundrel and the Complete Champion at Half Price Books for half price. Score! I was pretty happy about that, because the books did not impress me but there is still some useful stuff. Getting them at a discount was a boon.

I also scored Elder Evils, which is relatively new. Obviously, it's hard to use all the stuff in the book, but I have fond memories of Zargon so it was a must buy. Getting that book, and for half price, too, was a win.

It seems to me that in past few months, a lot of used 3.5 stuff has bottomed out at literally half price, which rarely happened before. That's one thing I can say I really like about 4e. :)

Right around the time of the 4e announcement, I managed to pick up some 3.5 books for a cent or two, literally.

The Green Ronin sale at Paizo's site was awesome, although I already had many of the books for sale there.

I can't use every bit of every book I've bought, but I'm still glad 4e was announced last year, even though I'll never buy anything 4e. It's probably saved me quite a few $, so far. :)

I grabbed a bunch of good stuff when 4E was announced and the sales started, but it's already clear that I'll never use most of it, and I don't have the room for it.

4E will likely end up benefiting my local library more than anything, so as to ensure all those D&D books get lots of use.

I had mild interest in Races of Stone, Races of the Wild, and Races of Destiny, but not enough to warrant even the discounted price on Amazon.com. I picked them up new from third-party Amazon sellers for $5 each.

Other than that, not much else has had my interest as I've already purchased most of what I want, which is a considerable amount.

Keeping my 3.5 books.. but also not buying anymore at any price. Waiting for 4E books in hand before I make a decision to buy more 3.5 or go the PRPG route.

Yeah, I picked up a bunch of the Green Ronin sale from Paizo. Awesome.

It tells me that since I won't be playing 4E, that if I ever want to get the books for posterity's sake, I'll wait until 5e is announced. ;)

I picked up a variety of stuff for pennies from Amazon sellers when 4E was announced. Most of it won't get a lot of use unless I wind up playing with folks who are 3.5-only, but Heroes of Horror and, to a lesser extent, Heroes of Battle have a lot of advice for any edition, and really any system, so they were well worth it. I almost picked up extra copies of the Eberron books as well, so I would have spare setting books if I ran a game, but I didn't.

In June I'm going to be moving out of town for school. Since I plan on getting 4e, I think I'm going to sell all my 3e books. I wont have room for them in my new place, so they'd basically sit at my parents house and collect dust. I'll just sell them, and if it is desperate for me to play 3e again, I'll just pick up another copy of the PH from a pawn shop.

Ok, well I'm not sure those are worth $5, but that's a good deal. :)
