D&D 3E/3.5 How has the 4e announcement helped your 3.5 stash?

I have already bought everything I was interested in for 3E. I am interested in buying good deals on Goodman DCC's I don't have, and a couple of Necromancer modules I have yet to get, but I am pretty much done.

Now there are some things that if I find for sale for $.01 plus $4.00 S/H I'll likely buy them.

Back around Christmas my local FLGS had all there Dragon and Dungeon Magazines for 1$ each. (They still have quite a few.)

This let me pick up the whole Savage Tide adventure path, amoung other things.

To be honest I havn't noticed many other sales (other then some online stuff mentioned above.)

Briefly, back in early Autumn 2007. The days of super deep discounts seem to be over, for the most part, though. Several independent resellers are now going the other direction and gouging consumers for 3x stuff, claiming that it has collectible value (there are some insane prices on Amazon and eBay currently). I quit buying 3x stuff right after Christmas and have slowly been weeding out the books that don't plan to use. . . though I'm not using Amazon or eBay to set price points, 'cause I don't feel like screwing anybody over today ;)

It seems to me that in past few months, a lot of used 3.5 stuff has bottomed out at literally half price, which rarely happened before. That's one thing I can say I really like about 4e. :)

Last year, my FLGS went out of business. I purchased many 3PP at least 90 percent off. And because of the 4E news, I continue to find bargains on-line and in the remaining stores at least 50 percent off, if not usually more.

An acquaintance of mine is moving to 4E so he had about a dozen 3.5 books that he wanted to off-load. I thanked him and told him that it was highly likely that I probably owned all the ones he had anyway, such is my library, but I was obliged to take a look anyway.

Much to my surprise I walked away with 7 of his books! Nicely filled in some of the gaps in my collection (including Manual of the Planes and the Book of Vile Darkness).
