Pathfinder 1E How is Paizo with updating their core pdf rule books?

Paizo prices their core rulebooks in pdf extremely well ($9.99), but I would like to know, how well do they keep these pdfs updated with errata, do you get an e-mail that a new version of the pdf is available with the errata integrated in the rules? Or do you have to make due with a separate errata pdf? How well are the pdfs done (bookmarked, linked ToC, linked Index, pager references linked, etc.)?

I bought a bunch of pdfs from Dreampod 9 and they update their core pdf rulebook on a yearly (?) basis and you get a nice e-mail informing you a new update is available at no extra costs.

I get emails from Paizo telling me whenever there is an updated version of one my previous PDF purchases available for download. So the answer to that is that they are quite good at integrating errata back into the rules and informing you that you can download an updated version of the document.

As for the bookmarking, indexing, etc, I have no complaints.

The method they've been using is to issue updated PDFs when they reprint. So copies of the book in the warehouse are running low, Paizo orders a reprint with all the errata updates. When the new printing becomes available, they sneak into your downloads folder and replace the out-of-date PDF with a shiny new updated PDF. I can't remember if they emailed me last time they did this, or if I read it on their message boards.

Also, they've updated the core rulebook, advanced player and gamemastery guides so far, and bestiary (I) so far.

When we reprint a core rulebook, we update the PDF at the same time and release them as close to simultaneously as we can. In addition, for those with older print copies, we release a separate pdf updating their particular version of the core rulebook to the most recent print copy.

Hope that helps.
