How is review average calculated?

I was wondering how the average review score is calculated for companies?

It seems to me that its working on an: (Total of scores)/number of products list compared to a (Total of scores) / total number of reviews.

I'm asking in particular because Ronin Arts score went from close to 4 as an average before the upgrade but now its average score is 1?

There is an error in the script. Products with no reviews at all are counting as 0's. This will be corrected.
