Usually depends on a combination of my interest in the topic and whether it seems its gotten into a round-and-round without any new insights.
A simple verbal use of the word Depends would have sufficed here.
I see that it at least has the 'extra absorbency' needed for some threads when people start goin back and forth saying who is more right.A simple verbal use of the word Depends would have sufficed here. It's too early in the morning to decently respond to a pun.

I have never been able to collect the data to prove it, but I think you can track most long threads by a inverse relationship between number of posts and number of posters.Whenever 2 posters start arguing about the meaning of a word when everyone knows what was meant anyway.
Is there a way to find out who participated in a given thread on EN World and how often?I have never been able to collect the data to prove it, but I think you can track most long threads by a inverse relationship between number of posts and number of posters.
I am sure @Morrus could pull that info, but we would have to literally count the posts and posters, I think. Is there a way to find out who participated in a given thread on EN World and how often?
