I see that it at least has the 'extra absorbency' needed for some threads when people start goin back and forth saying who is more right.

I have never been able to collect the data to prove it, but I think you can track most long threads by a inverse relationship between number of posts and number of posters.

I am sure @Morrus could pull that info, but we would have to literally count the posts and posters, I think.
