How long does it take for an assassin to envenom his weaopn?

So this came up in our game last night, that the assassin wanted to envenom his weapon during combat. We looked and looked, but could not find rules for how long that should take.

Can't remember if it's standard or full-round, although I'm pretty sure it provokes AoO's...

Edit: oh and don't forget that you have to add the time of fishing the poison out of the backpack.

Thank you slim. Anyone able to find a page number where it talks about poision? Or maybe it's in the rogue handbook, which I do not possess.
