How long has it been in-between tabletop games?

We played last Sunday, 5/16. Our next session is scheduled for... June something?

It's very difficult trying to coordinate schedules with married couples, couples with babies, people traveling for work, and people traveling to visit relatives. It'd be much easier to game after work but people get too tired and don't pay attention as much.

Oh, well, at least it hasn't been since 1995!

Didn't play for 8 years when I got married - 1986 to 1994 (or 1995). Got rid of loads of good stuff in that period also - modules and rule books. Replaced all, but ut really wasn't a good idea. I missed gaming too much in the end and started again.

For me, it's been about half a week (Sunday) and our next game is this Sunday. The longest I went with no role-playing was from 1994 to 1996, and before that, from 1984 to 1988. I had a short dry spell in 1998 of about 8 months, but since then... my God... I just realized, I've played since 1998 at least two weekends out of every month EVERY YEAR. I need to get out more.

Longest period without a game was for 6 months when I moved from Switzerland to Brazil! (I would ask people to beat _that_ but I know of is at least one ENWorlders from the USA that is living in Russia)

I was thinking more of a confessional:
"Bless me. It's been 2 weeks since my last roleplay. I've thought about it many times in the past week... I had thoughts about using dice..."

Well besides the eight years between being born and my first session and then four years after that till the next I would say about two months. I went through a period of rpg burnout. It was near torture for me to play. There wasn't any fun in it at all. I cannot really point to why that happened, but I am long past that. Since that time, though, I've been going steady weekend after weekend and many times on Tuesdays also, with only vacations and serious illnesses stopping me.
