I have the one user name for all the boards I'm on (CM, Necro, Paizo & Malhavoc), except WotC. The name was already taken there. I think it's mine but I couldn't for the life of me remember the password or find a way to get it.

I used to be known as Tallarn here, but this is the same account with a name change, so that doesn't really count as an .alt.

I also created El Dinky Dawg once, to post mocking Dinkeldog, but it wasn't as funny as mocking Piratecat, so I haven't used it since about 2003 or so.

So - I have one alt, but I don't use it, so I voted 0.

Nope, just this one. It's the same username as over the wizards boards (which I haven't checked in over a year...).

I don't use alts. They lower my overall post count, and now they'll potentially steal reputation away from me. Don't want that.

I also see it as kind of dishonest, unless it's done for reasons like forum gaming, or technical problems or something like that. Using a lot of alts simultaneously is somewhat akin to trolling the way I see it.

I'm kind of surprised none of Rev's alts weren't on my friend list given how many alts there were. And because I have one of the larger lists I've seen around here, probably because I actively sent out requests to a lot of people when it starts. His list was the first I've seen with more users on it, hell it dwarfs my list, but most of his alts were on it too, so that padded it out a little.

on Dungeons & Dragons Roleplaying Game Official Home Page i had about 2 to 3 dozen.

All I can picture from this is an army of diaglo alts praising the glories of the original three booklets all over WotC's page.
