How many campaigns are you in?

I play in roughly 3 campaigns, 2 more likely since one of them hasn't been played in a logn time (the campaign that is the source of my handle here on the boards). One features me as an elven rogue, and the other is with a bunch of great guys from here on the boards up at Games Plus--awesome store.

I DM 3 games as well, two Forgotten Realms campaigns, one of which is my very first campaign and doesn't get played too much anymore, and the other is a new one I just started this summer. For our groups sheer hack-n-slash enjoyment, I'm also running Return to the Tomb of Horrors--keeping carefully tallies of how many times I've killed the PCs (there is no resurrection, they just respawn, sort of like in Doom...lol)

And that Doom comment really just made me sound antiquated...

2 campaigns.

I DM my hombrew campaign, StormWorld. Currently low levle.

The other campaign is run by the other DM in the group. Its currently set in a highly modified 3E Forgotten Realms. We' all around 13th level and have been playing this one for about 2 years.

Unfortuneatly I will be saying good by to this group come Jult when my wife and I relocate to Florida.

Ace, where in Florida are you???

I voted 4; here's the breakdown:

1 regular campaign. We have two sets of characters - our regular ones (about 9th level) and our low levels one we play when not everyone can make it. We play about every 2 weeks, but it's been slowing down lately..

2 pbem campaigns.

1 RPGA campaign - Living Greyhawk - 1 main character (played 17 rounds) and 1 secondary character (played 1 round). I included RPGA because at 4 hours per rounds, I've played as much here as in my "regular table top" game.

Oh, I also DM for my kids. So I guess it's really 5.

Just one, as DM. Though I'd love to be playing in a game as well. It helps hold off ye olde GM Burnout.

At one point I was playing in three campaigns and DMming one, and I realized that my psyche was becoming somewhat s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d, and that I had one dominant character personality that was seeping into the others. An interesting psychological experiment, I suppose.

Playing in one campaign and being a DM in another allows me to live both sides of D&D and still do all the other things I like to do.

I havent played in ONE 3E campaign yet

Where i am from its hard to find a group to play with...
Ive tried EVERYTHING. so dont bother sending tips on
finding a group, I wanted to play a year or so back but
now im too busy to comit myself to a campaign 100%

What im really really REALY looking forawrd to is NWN

That will fill in the time i need to get my 3E DnD fix
perfectly...
