How many GMs in your group

My group at school has one full time GM, and one who has barely started playing who has decided to take on a massive campaign with 8 players...he's gonna die. My group at home has 3, I believe.

I think I've seen all the batman movies.

School: 5 players. Home: Between 3 and 6 players

Batman films, seen 'em all but the last (George Clooney) one I only went and saw once.

My Monday night group has six members and the problem we have is that we all DM. It gets a little awkward to give all those that want to run get a chance. Fortunately I'm fairly popular as a DM and get plenty of chances. Other DMs want to run other games so variety is not the problem! Getting a long-term campaign on the go however...

Well I'm starting an AU campaign and we're adding a new player and thankfully she's not a DM.., yet.

All 6 people in my group have either ran something for the group, ran something for another group, or offered to run something in the future.

1. All of them, unfortunately.

2. Six.

3. Four. It tends to work out well, as there is always someone willing to run something when the previous GM needs a break or wants some downtime.

if everyone shows up, we're up to nine people in our current group. of them, four of us have GMed for this group on various occasions.

1) Yes, I actually paid money to see all of those movies. Not that I usually go around admitting that in public.

2) Five

3) Everybody has GMed at some point although I would only call 2 of our group official GMs.

1) All four, with steadily increasing frequency of snickers and rolling-of-eyes.

2) Five altogether.

3) Three. I do it whenever possible, and I have the most free time on my hands. Another experienced DM who does it when he has the time. My brother dislikes it, but occasionally gets the itch and does a great job. One other player tried his hand, but it was disastrous. :)

1) A - the one with Jack N. right?

2) 8 people in group - originally I made a big group to assure at least four players every week - lately everybody has been showing up! :D

3) I am the only GM for our weekly game, however others at the table run games outside the group for different folks:

  • Hairy Minotaur has his own Sunday afternoon group. (see his Story hour for an account of that group's adventures)
  • Space Hulkster runs a late Friday night game that Hairy Minotaur and I play in with a few others.
  • Another player (don't remember his ENWorld handle) runs a group from his workplace on Sundays.
  • hwoolsey used to run a group of friends in Bloomington, IL, but I think that game is on permanent hiatus

Oddly enough, almost none of these groups share players. None of them are the same as "my" Wednesday night group.

1. alas, all

2. mother ... *starts counting on fingers* between 12 and 20, depending on how many games are active at any given time. We just had two games wrap up in the last month, and two players move town, so it's around 12 right now. I expect it to be 15+ again within another 4 weeks. Don't even ask about my 'casual' gaming circle :)

3. four currently, plus one who just moved away, one who's about to become a more regular member of our games, and at least three others whom I came with from time to time.
