How many hours a year do you play?

For our group: approximately 3 sessions per month, at 6 hours per session, for 18 hours per month.

So 216 hours per year, roughly. Figure about 230 hours, counting ENWorld Gamedays.

Prep time weighs in at 320 hours per year, figuring about 8 hours per week at roughly 40 weeks. There's not a direct correllation between prep and play, since I don't DM all the time.

When life is "normal" I play about 20 hours per week about 40 weeks out of the year, so roughly 800 hours/year. About half of that time is family time, because that 10 hours/week is either me DMing for my kids or my kids learning to DM by DMing me and their other two siblilngs.

My kids are age 3 and almost 2, so I don't get to do that yet, but, oh, how I'm looking forward to it!

Something over 350, I'd say: Every sunday (or nearly every sunday) About 5 hours, and every other week on a work day (usually thursday), for about 6 hours.

I play two games a week. 5 hours each. we probably cancel about 10 games a year... and I'll miss a couple for being on vacation. so I'm guessing 450 - 500 hrs
