How many magic stones can you throw?

Ok, for what it's worth, I performed the following experiment:

I took 3 golf balls and from twenty feet or so, threw them all at once with one arm motion at a target drawn in chalk at the back of the shop.

Welcome to the geek club! :D

Honestly, a cleric at lvl1 could cause 6D6+6 or so against undeads. In one round. That's too much IMHO as mentioned above.

Take a human lvl2 Ranger/cleric with PBS and Rapid Shot and let him throw the three pebbles at a -4 to hit.

Is it too powerful for a first level spell? Well, magic missile does up to 5d4+5, this one does a max of 3d6+3 and requires three to hit rolls. Also, like shuriken, any strength bonus or extra dice should be applied only once. Seems fairly balanced except for the fact that it does this at first level, while magic missile scales with level and requires 9 levels for max damage.

Thoughts?

Well, it's a Cleric spell, not a Wiz spell, and arcanists do get more efficient damage dealing spells as a general rule (and Magic Missle is easily one of the best of 'em). Compare it to other Cleric spells... For instance, a 5th level cleric hitting an undead critter with a Searing Light (3rd level spell which is especially effective vs undead) will do 5d6 damage. Compare that to 6d6+6!
