I'm in the 4-7 range, I think... We'll see. I don't really keep character sheets, and I usually DM, though, so these characters are more like iconic characters that I've used variations on. Locke (first character, slightly unstable conjurer, PC in 2e and NPC in 3e, 12th-13th level, high Int and Cha, rock-bottom Wis) Thopter (made at the same time as Locke for the same campaign, a wizard who got to 6th level and dualled to Fighter, good stats all around, about the same level as Locke in 3.Xe) Kelleris Fortunesbane (iconic 40th-level character and a background figure in my campaign history - never played him and probably never will, but he's fun to play around with - Sorcerer 20/Wizard 20 with Int and Cha 40 and an incorporeal, diminuitive Solar hierophant as a familiar, the Shoulder Angel, aka SA) Loopmotten Scheppen the First (a sort of magish-ly inclined barbarian fighter; I've used everything from Hexblade to Fighter/Barbarian/Monk/ Psychic Warrior to Battle Sorcerer for him; regularly has a negative AC due to his fighting style, Caelestes Lumenitates - about 6th level) Loopmotten Scheppen the Third (a rabid dire weasel improved familiar to a character whose name I can no longer remember master was 7th level) Roywyn "Fnipper" (gnomish fighter/rogue with a 5 Con and layers upon layers of armor; I decided to do the rogue thing and stay way from their more melee oriented skills and abilities; his name is actually feminine according to the PHB; as is Loopy's come to think of it... Weird. Low level, about 3rd-4th) Adauth Mirorwyn (bard, barely - he specializes in better living and monster hunting through alchemy, being prepared for every eventuality, and giving people bonuses when he tells them how to do their job, either 4th-6th level or 15th-17th) Thomas "Giles" Gravorg (freelance monster-hunter and supposed author in a d20 Modern game; I couldn't resist having him go ahead and use a machine pistol, though - he's 8th level, and the nickname was not my idea) That's all the ones I've actually played. I've had several equally memorable NPCs, so I guess that would put me over the top if they counted.
