You remember all those celebrities that said they would leave the U.S. if Bush was elected president back in 2000, but then didn't? I truly believe that 95% of those people who say they won't buy/convert to 3.5 will.
Why?
Because it's where "The Community" is headed. And as nice as it may be to *be passionate about 3.0* or to *hold onto what we believe in*, it's harder to be a part of a group that has moved on and left you behind.
I mean, let's face it, DnD is like fashion...it's always on the move.
3.0 is now about as cool as a "member's only" jacket and slap bracelets.
