Two.

I run one in the FR. Low level at the moment.

I play in a modified Scarred Lands run. Playing two characters at once.

That's almost exactly the same as my situation.

I'm DMing a Forgotten Realms campaign where the PCs are currently levels 6-7, and I'm playing in a Scarred Lands campaign (although I'm only playing one character, not two).

How odd. :D

I've been jonesing to run/play in a Star Wars campaign. Any similar desires there?

Actually, yes. :)

I've talked to my friends about running a Star Wars D20 campaign someday (probably around the time Episode 3 is released, so we'll be in full Star Wars mode :D). So far I haven't decided which era I'd want to set it in: Old Republic, Clone Wars, Galactic Civil War, or New Republic.

Sweet. I did a 2-part one-shot a few months back, set in between KotOR and Episode I, which everyone loved but we are deep in D&D mode because of LotR. So Episode III seems like a logical jumping-on point. I wonder how many other gamers are in the same situation...

Here are some of the different campaign ideas I've had for the various eras...

Old Republic: All of the PCs would be Jedi Knights, and it would take place a looooong time before the movies (thousands of years). The PCs would be tracking down and eliminating any Sith Lords they could find. I got this idea from the Episode I novelization which mentioned the war between the Sith and the Jedi which resulted in all but one Sith Lord being wiped out.

Clone Wars: The PCs would be a "strike force" made up of bounty hunters, clone troopers, and maybe one or two Jedi Knights running special operations against the Seperatists.

Galactic Civil War: Similar to the Clone Wars campaign, except the PCs would be a Rebel strike force running missions against the Empire. Naturally, there would be no jedi PCs in this era. Conversely, I've pondered doing it the other way around and having the PCs be an Imperial strike force hunting down Rebels. :D

New Republic: This would probably be the most roleplaying-heavy of the lot. The PCs would visit various worlds on diplomatic missions (trying to persuede them to join the New Republic). Low-level jedi knights would be allowed (since Luke Skywalker has re-established the jedi order), and the combat would mostly come from encounters with Imperial remnants and organized crime syndicates.

I can tell you right now that this one is a winner. My one-shot had elements of this and it was hella-fun to GM and the players really liked it. I can't see any Star Wars fan/Gamer not enjoying this kind of game. Throw in a little political intrigue and you can stretch it out even longer.

I work 45+ hours a week.

I have a social life outside of rpgs.

So I can only handle one game at a time, and that on an every-other-week basis.

Otherwise I'd never get to take my nieces and nephews out to the zoo, park, whathaveyou :)

I play in one of Nightfall's online Scarred Lands game (the good hearted benign group), play a live game each week on an alternating schedule: I am a player in Reiella's Homebrew and run a Scarred Lands game myself.

Play in someone's 3.5 home game (I consider this my primary game).
Play in Living Greyhawk (3 different characters)
Play in Living Death
Play in an online 3.5 game
Play in an online d20 Modern game
Run an online game of D20 The End
Run a 3.0 Savage Species in City of the Spider Queen game
Run a 3.0 Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil game for my kids (they've did the first 2 adventure path mods, plus the old U1-3 Saltmarsh series before starting this monster)
Run a 3.0 "mod of my choosing" game for my kids (a spin-off from the last game, currently in the midst of "Tears of Twilight Hollow" from Dungeon Magazine)

The last three haven't run in a few months, but they'll be continuing soon. We have to alternate since I run all three and don't run every week (especially when the kids have sports on the weekends).

The others are all very active (since my online "The End" game just got ressurected).

My primary game has a "back up" game that we haven't done in over 6 months, so if that revives it will be game #10.

I only put down my face-to-face games, of which I DM two (one AU and one homebrew D&D), and two which I play in (one AU and one homebrew D&D).

As for PbP, I DM seven and am playing in four.
