How many supplements do you use?

For me now, probably around 6-8, but that's only for running around the Scarred Lands. Course I'll have more as the source material grows. :)

Everything else, is what ever I feel like.

I've got far more than I'd care to list... It's a long list.

I can say, though, that the amount that I use from each is quite varied. For instance, I have all of the Class Books, but other than about half of the Feats and some of the spells from T&B, these books are used least. I have Bastion's Arms & Armor, and I use most of the mundane (non-magical) stuff. I have Relics & Rituals, and I use most everything from it other than the PClasses and Product Identity material.

So I'd say I've got nearly 50 or so books, and I'm using around 40%-50% of it all.

Of what I am using (including Core), only about 50% is used as originally written.

Well, my game is set in a homebrewed campaign, so I don't "need" much. However, I have tons of old school (1/2e) stuff, and most of the wotc 3e stuff, and use bits and pieces from all of it from time to time.

I try to limit the amount I need for any given game to a reasonable amount if it's not at my pad, though; otherwise carrying all that stuff gets ridiculous.

In general, I use a little bit from all the class splatbooks. At least a little something comes up almost every game. I have a phat binder with tons of monsters, including a photocopy of Monsters of Faerun in it, and another binder full of campaign notes, my spells, feats, prc's, etc.

I use very little from third party sources, even though I have several (BoEM, R&R, some AEG stuff)- mostly I mine them for ideas.

My collection....

I wanted, with my collection, to find a way to combine the best aspects of 3E/d20, GURPS, and Alternity (with possibly some other systems...). I like aspects of each. But each has its own flaws, at least in my opinion. I think that it should be possible to merge the three into a low-magic, low-powered fantasy campaign setting. No tossing around meteor swarms, no shrugging off dozens of sword blows. (How it would work, I still have no idea. And I'm unlikely to get all those supplements again, so oh well....)

I figured, after I had managed that, I would then bring in aspects of different campaign setting ideas. Forgotten Realms (seriously toned down), Birthright, Dark Sun (again, seriously toned down), Greyhawk, Mystara, GURPS fantasy, and some other stuff.

Like I said, it'd probably be a mess. But it would have been interesting, at least. :)

Use? I think I've used all the supplements that I've got maybe once or twice, each. I think there are some that have yet to be used. And that bugs me. I'm still in the process of creating a combined spell list so at least the spells can be used, but I want to work more of the material in. Although if I were being the DM, it could help, but that would be sometime in the future. But I MUST use those books sometime... just have to get around to figuring out how, really...
