She had me check out the 2e phb from the library so she could read through it,&nbsp; which she did cover to cover over a few days and she finally said &quot;sure,&nbsp; I have no idea what the big deal is, there's nothing troublesome in here&quot; and that was the end of it,&nbsp; I got the go ahead to buy my own phb and I haven't stopped playing since.&nbsp;&nbsp; Unfortunately in school I got a lot of crap about it,&nbsp; had one girl I liked tell me i needed to burn all my books to save my soul, and she wouldn't talk to me until I did.&nbsp;&nbsp; In front of her.&nbsp;&nbsp; That never happened.&nbsp; &nbsp; Had a good friend I played a game or two with tell me he couldn't play anymore because it was evil and I couldn't hang out with him anymore because I probably didn't have a soul anymore.&nbsp; That stung a bit but it was par for the course in Texas in the 90s...</blockquote>
