......would you pay for the Dragon Mag 250 Issue CD?

Or have you paid recently if you've picked one up?

Is it worth 50+ USD and if so , why?

I paid 30 for it and I think I paid too much. Just not as useful as I'd have hoped. It's a fine product but I was hoping for better scans and a better search function to find things.

It was $50 when it first came out in the stores brand new.

I'd probably only pay about $20 for it now. As the years go by, more and more of the stuff has been recovered in later issues or 3rd party products.

Now if there was a Dungeon archive, that would be a different story.

I bought it several years ago. I recall it being rather hard to find, actually. I don't remember what I paid for it, but I don't think it was $50. I just don't see myself paying that much for it.

I like it, but I can't remember that last time I referenced it for anything.

I think it's worth $50; I think I got lucky and got it for about $40, though I'd have paid $10 more.

It's a fascinating trove to search through, especially if you're feeling nostalgic for Martian Metals or Minarian Legends or other stuff along those lines. It's interesting to watch the progression of the RPG hobby and Dragon itself. Lots of stuff that is still worth reading for idea mining. I thought the scans were actually pretty good, but your mileage may vary.

I think I paid about $35 or so. I'd have felt it was worthwhile even if I paid more. I use it on a regular basis, for gaming inspiration and research for professional projects.

I do have one complaint, though. It doesn't include the annuals. Other than that, it's perfect, but I do have to knock it down a few notches for such a glaring error. Still more than worth it, though.
