I'm one of the 100%ers, so I'll speak up. :D

I am currently DMing a 23rd-level campaign that started at 1st-level, and every PC has died at least once, most several times. I allow the revivify spell from Miniatures Handbook, which I'm counting as "raised" as well.

My 20th-level character in my friend's campaign, also brought up from 1st-level, has died and been brought back at least 3 times. Since we started the campaign before 3E existed, I've invested alot of time in the character and would rather keep going with him than create another character.

If you are playing at a high-level campaign, I don't see how it can't be 100%, due to the prevalence of save-or-die spells and effects in the game. It is just too easy to die.

IMC's it doesn't happen all that often. There are times when they will try and raise/restore a dead party member but they don't go out of their way to do it. I voted for 10%.

In the game I'm playing in, the raise rate is about 70% - it's around 16-17th level and raising magic is fairly easy to access. Occasionally someone will want a change of character and will refuse raising.

I'm not that partial to being raised, so I'll often change. Current character might get a raise if he died, because I like the little guy.

For the next game I run, it will be zero. But it's a non core answer. Removing all resurection type magic and replacing with WFRP style fate points, far less messing around and think it feels more 'sensible' to me.
