It's a weird time to be publishing a game. I can - and often do - answer customer rules queries instantly using my phone wherever I am, whether that be on the forum, Twitter, or Facebook. Tech has definitely changed things!
20 years ago that would have been unheard if. Now, I can be at lunch and my phone pings, I see somebody has asked a rules question about one of my books on a forum or on Facebook or wherever and I quickly answer it and get on with my lunch.
Of course, it kinda means I’m working 24/7... but that’s the nature of the job, I guess. I don’t mind it.
Plus you get people marvelling at how fast your responses always are. The magic of mobile telephonic technology!
You can actually get an answer to a rules question from the designer *during the game*! That just sounds like magic.
