D&D 4E How to Demo 4E/Essentials?

My FLGS asked me to help demo 4E/Essentials and promote D&D Encounters at the gaming, fantasy, and sci-fi convention in town this weekend.

Anyone have any tips on demonstrating an RPG at a con?

How about showing the strengths of the much maligned 4E to a crowd that will likely be full of Pathfinder players?

Never run a con game so can't help there. But one of the big strengths is forced movement. So use lots of it with things to push the bad guys into. Also start at second level - still simple but you get a utility power.

Obvious classes:
1: Knight. To reassure the PF players that it's not all Kewl Powers. And for people who don't like powers. Give them the forced movement/tide of iron stance and the bonus damage.
2: Warlord. It's new (to 4e anyway) and it's cool. You don't need clerics. Give them Brash Assault and Direct the Strike as their at will powers and you've a pretty impressive range of ability. And Bastion of Defence rocks if this is your main healer.
3: Mage. Two forced movement at wills. Also that gives you two Essentials classes.

Other pre-gens to taste.
