How to get reviews or at least noticed.

I think a good way for some of the smaller PDF publishers to gain more recognition is to partner with larger publishers. Joining forces can be a benefit to both parties.

Maybe, but if you're not careful, it can backfire. E.N. Publishing teamed with a company early on. I found so many typographical and grammatical errors on the first page of one of their demo products that I had to make sure I wasn't buying anything from that group's authors when I bought something from E.N. Granted, the book sounded good, and got fairly decent reviews, but if it looks like it was never proof-read, I tend to be a bit more skeptical of the rules content.

Smaller books seem to get reviewed faster. Can any larger companies with more titles back this theory up?

This should be expected. As someone who does freelance reviews for Pyramid, I always read the whole book or pdf and give it some percolating time to evaluate the contents before writing up my reviews. Longer books take longer to read. Since I only do this on evenings and weekends when I'm not doing overtime at my day job, a 64 page sourcebook just takes fewer evenings to read than a 300 page campaign setting.

I understand this concern. I still think it could be a very profitable model to try.
