How to make a 100th level character and other obsurd junk.

I got out H2 the other day - it wasn't quite as bad as I remember it, I might actually run it some day.

H4 on the other hand - have you no taste!? The lich's tower isn't to bad, but once you get to the abyss, it just gets silly, like the attack by 100 Type VI demons (Balors to most of you) and the guest appearance by St. Cuthbert.

For real high level play, try converting the M (master) series (Into the Maelstrom's the best).

Yes, I really enjoyed that adventure! :)

It did get totally ridiculous once you get to the Abyss, but in reworking the adventure for 3rd Edition I will almost certainly change a few things. ;)

Thanks for the tip. I may buy that pdf. Very interesting.

St. Sollars, actually. Patron Saint of the Barony of Bloodstone, and servant to Bahamut...St. Cuthbert is a full god in his own right. :D

All insanity aside, I actually like H4. Defeat the lich, travel to the Abyss, steal and destroy Orcus' wand. That screams Epic adventure to me.
