How to Modify the +1 Per Day Feats...

There's quite a few feats out there that only provide a +1 bonus to die roll once per day. In my mind, that's just not worth it so what's the best fix that keeps as close to the original feat as possible?

Instead of 1x/day, 1x/encounter?

1x/day, but increase the bonus to +3 or even +4?

Something else?

In the past, with the True Believer feat, we've upped the bonus to +3 once per day if the use is announced before the die roll is made. If not, the use is +2 once per day.

It depends on the feat. True believer the bonus is not the point, it's to get access to relics. So, I wouldn't change that.

Bingo. Not that Relics are all that, IMHO... but if you're going to charge a feat to use 'em, the 1/day bonus is merely a nice side effect.

While it's not a +1 mod feat, it has the 1/day limitation, and has bugged me since the moment I saw it. Danger Sense from Complete Adventurer...

Once per day, you can reroll an initiative check you have just made. You use the better of your two rolls. You must decide to reroll before the round starts.

This one I allow the use of 1/day, plus 1 for every 10 levels.

A better example for Ogrork, I think, would be Disciple of Darkness from Champions of Ruin.

Once per day, while performing an evil act, you can call upon your diabolic patron to add a +1 luck bonus on any one attack roll, saving throw, ability check, skill check, or level check.

This one I allow number of uses per day equal to 1, plus 1 for every 5 levels.

You -have- to require a verbal component with that one! Blood and souls! Blood and souls! :D
