How to Play D&D With Your Buddies from Highschool

My high school group reconvened (well 3/5 did) to game regularly for 2 years after two of us returned from college. It was glorious. We picked up the same 2nd ed characters and took them to an epic ending at 14th level.

We switched to 3rd but it never took as well, and the other 2 had quit gaming by the time I left town in 2001.
