How will 4th ed. affect other d20-based games?

Will E6 change and become 4E10 as the system takes only the Heroic character levels to make a mini-game out of the 4E SRD?

I'm Curious,

Why should they be affected? It's not like the 4e gestapo are going to show up at your house and take away your 3.0/3.5e materials. It's also not like the OGL and d20 SRD are going to go away.

Yup. I fully plan on releasing products for both 4e and 3.5e throughout 2008.

Depending on whether WotC cancel the d20 license or just quietly stop supporting it, we may see any and all d20-branded products disappear, either being re-issued as OGL products, or simply disappearing entirely. We'll certainly not see any new d20 products being published.

For OGL products, I expect we may see a raft of new editions from some publishers, as they take the opportunity to bring their games into line with the new D&D mechanics, and not coincidentally gaining the sales boost that comes from a new core rulebook being published.

And, in some cases at least, we'll see things just carrying on unchanged.

That's IF Wizard's decides to cancel the d20 license. They may release it to public and just let the 3.5e d20 market go off on its own, with no basic support from them. I've been pestering them about this for a while now, and no one is returning my inquiries.

I am fairly certain I saw something where GR said M&M would not be updating in the near future.

That's correct. We have no plans for new editions of either M&M or True20 anytime soon.
