How would you move Greyhawk to 4E?

Like many, I retain a great deal of fondness for the Greyhawk setting, even if I don't play in it myself. So how would you move Greyhawk to 4e?

Let me kick off some suggestions:

1. Advance the time to 899 - Smuffet Pledger's time. The conceit being that he's already described the Oerth that Was and is now describing the Oerth that Is. This gives us a few hundred years for the events below. I like the idea of advancing time a la Forgotten Realms rather than the wholesale cataclysms that they've used with Dragonlance (and now the Forgotten Realms).

2. Tieflings come from the remains of the Great Kingdom and the remains of the Empire of Iuz, who destroyed his empire when he ascended to full godhood.

3. Dragonborn come from what was The Sea of Dust. The magic sustaining it ran out and normalcy has returned to that area.

4. Iuz's ascencion also destabilised planar boundaries.

5. Oerth has long been close to the Plane of Shadow. New terminology simply calls this the Shadowfell.

6. Along with the Shadowfell, the Feywild has been drawn into close association with Oerth, bringing Eladrin with it.

Pretty neat idea I think. If it were me I'd handwave the gray and valley elves into Eladrin (which is what I did in my homebrew), but I like the origin for the Tieflings and using Smedger's time as the default campaign "present".

IIRC there's three other continents on Oerth; I'd think the dragonborn could originate from any of them (the Sea of Dust et. al. is pretty well spoken for). Somewhere floating about the net are a variety of maps for the rest of the planet, some from old TSR/WotC publications and some more "Gygaxian" depending on taste.
I'd pro'lly incorporate Tharizdun into the plane destabilizing backstory, but some are tired of Tharizdun as a plot point so YMMV.

ETI: A bundle of those maps can be found right here: http://www.sodabob.com/roleplay/dnd/Maps/

Do tell. Remember that I'm proposing that the Sea of Dust is no more.

Apparently I misread that part of your post - ah well.
Given that the Sea of Dust and parts west were the origination point for humans of Suloise extraction before the Invoked Devestation, it would be interesting to see if any links existed between those peoples (the Dragonborn and the Suloise Empire that was).
Perhaps they're somewhat responsible for reviving the area? Those loyal to Bahaumut likely would find that a worthy goal....even if I'm not picturing a bizarre cabal of Dragonborn Druids.....
